We wanted to update our members on an issue affecting our Annual General Meeting (AGM) next Tuesday 2 December.
Reconciliation WA has identified that, due to an administrative error, a significant portion of our Djinda (individual) and Moort (family) members did not receive notice calling for nominations for election as a Board member and notice of the AGM.
This communication issue in our member notification process, meant some members may not have had the opportunity to nominate for election to the Board. Our constitution requires us to give members 45 days’ notice for nominations and 21 days’ notice for the AGM. Based on legal advice and our commitment to good governance and transparency, we will be rescheduling the AGM to Tuesday, 3 February at 4pm here at the Constitutional Centre in West Perth.
The nomination process will be reopened, with email communication issued 45 days prior to the revised AGM (Friday 19 December 2025). A further communication will be sent 21 days prior (Tuesday 13 January 2026) with the formal Notice of AGM, including the Board member nominations received and the Proxy/Representative Appointment Form for members unable to attend.
We have linked our Annual Report here, including the financial report for the financial year ended 30 June 2025. Members will be given the opportunity to ask questions about this report at the rescheduled AGM.
