Walking together towards reconciliation

About Reconciliation WA
A better future for all Western Australians
Reconciliation WA (RWA) is a not-for-profit organisation providing leadership, advocacy and support to people and organisations driving the reconciliation movement in Western Australia.
Our vision is a better future for our state, one that celebrates strong and positive relationships and outcomes between Aboriginal Peoples and the wider Western Australian community. Through education, support and our reconciliation programs, we focus on the creation of social and economic outcomes to ensure the cultures, rights and contributions of Aboriginal peoples are valued and respected.
As the peak body for reconciliation in WA, we also work with our state and territory reconciliation colleagues and Reconciliation Australia to support, promote and lead national reconciliation initiatives.

Our 2025-2030 Strategy
Our 2025–2030 Strategy is shaped by nearly 1,500 voices, from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and people, our members, the broader movement, and the Reconciliation WA Board and team. It’s a bold call to action: to inspire and enable all Western Australians to contribute meaningfully to reconciliation.
Across the state, we heard four powerful themes:
- Education and advocacy
- Collaboration and relationship-building
- Truth-telling and listening
- Empowerment and self-determination
These themes guide our place-based approach, driven by communities, grounded in impact.
