Become an RWA volunteer!

RWA Volunteers dedicate their time and skills to the reconciliation movement.

We rely heavily on the valuable and significant support of a wide volunteer base and the contribution of many individuals who are committed to the growth and development of reconciliation momentum across WA.

Reconciliation is everyone’s business, it is not the responsibility of any one person, body or office. Volunteers are central to the vision of RWA to build respectful relationships between Aboriginal Peoples and the wider community.

Some volunteering positions may include contributing time at our head office in Boorloo (Perth), others involve helping us to deliver our regular programs and project, or stepping up during National Reconciliation Week.

• Experience Reconciliation WA’s 2023 NRW Program, and broader reconciliation programs;
• Be fully immersed into a small, passionate team working to advance the reconciliation movement in WA; and
• Have opportunities to engage in formal and informal cultural awareness training and cultural education opportunities.

Essential:
• Deep empathy with Aboriginal history in Western Australia.
• Police Clearance and Working With Children Check, or the ability to obtain prior to commencing position (any fees to be reimbursed by RWA).
Desirable:
• Experience in the NFP sector and/or experiencing coordinating teams of people.

To express your interest, email People and Operations Manager Steve Martin with your CV and your reasons for applying.
