Planning to join us for the Walk for Reconciliation at Galup (Lake Monger) and need a ride? Please be aware that parking is limited, so we’re offering a convenient shuttle bus service from Glendalough train station.

Shuttle bus getting you to the Walk for Reconciliation:
  1. Reconciliation WA Shuttle Bus departing from Glendalough Train Station – Scarborough Beach Rd, Osborne Park
Shuttle bus to help get you home from the Walk for Reconciliation:
  1. RWA Shuttle bus departing from Gregory St between Rason St and Wise St and returning to Glendalough Train Station – Scarborough Beach Rd, Osborne Park
Registrations for the shuttle bus will close on Wednesday, 22 October.

Lake Monger Recreation Club

  • Address: 144 Gregory Street, Wembley WA 6014, Wembley
  • Elders / Seniors Parking: Allocated bays in front of the club, with 40 bays available.
  • Overflow Parking: Available at the corner of Gregory Street and Lake Monger Drive, Wembley.

Acrod Parking

Address: 144 Gregory Street, Wembley WA 6014

  • Acrod Parking: Allocated bays in front of the club, with 10 bays available.
  • Overflow Parking: Available at the corner of Gregory Street and Lake Monger Drive.

Track matting will be provided from the footpath to the activation area. If attendees park at the recreation centre, they’ll need to follow the path around the lake to reach the stage area. From there, track matting will guide them the rest of the way.

Uber/Taxi Drop Off/Pick Up

Location: Southwest Carpark – corner of Gregory Street and Lake Monger Drive, Wembley

Public Bike Parking

Location: Available at the South Carpark on Lake Monger Drive, Wembley

Public Parking

Please be aware that public parking is limited, so we recommend using public transport options.

Lake Monger Drive:

  • Southwest Carpark 1: 30 bays (Corner Gregory St & Lake Monger Drive, Wembley)
  • Southeast Carpark 5: 50 bays + 2 disabled bays (Corner of Lake Monger Drive & Freeway, Leederville)

Leederville Cricket Club:

  • 300 bays
  • Please note: Attendees will need to walk approximately 1.5 km over the freeway overpass and around the lake to reach the main stage/activation area.
