Djilba Education Ring: Online meeting

Online event

Rita Lusted from the Department of Education will guide you through exploring teaching through the Two-Way Science model – combining western science practices with traditional culture and knowledge.

Rita Lusted is a proud Noongar woman with traditional ties to Wilmen, Koreng boodja. She is a Senior Consultant Two-way Science engaged in the development and delivery of the WA Education Department’s Two-way Science Initiative.

Wananami Remote Community School will join us and lend their on-the-ground experience to the discussion. The school was the 2023 recipient of the Excellence in Cultural Responsiveness Award for their two-way approach to teaching.

Their focus on Aboriginal ways of knowing, being and doing, supports all that they do, especially in their Science program. Join us to hear their journey and discover how you can walk your own journey too.
