Herdsman Lake, or ‘Noogenboro’, is a significant place for the Noongar people.
This is a cultural session designed to give you some background and awareness of this site and education programs that might be useful for you and your students. For example, Noongenboro Kudajin Boodja (Herdsman Learning Ground) – a 2.5 hour program where learners can try their hand at Aboriginal art, test their skills spear throwing or building a mia-mia and learn about bush food and medicinal plants at Herdsman Lake.
