Each year, thanks to the support of participating organisations, hundreds of Reconciliation Week banners featuring an artwork by a West Australian Aboriginal Artist fly proud and high across WA.
Reconciliation WA has proudly accepted stewardship of the successful state-wide program, with support from Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
In 2023, Reconciliation Week Street Banners will fly across 34 locations throughout Western Australia during National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June). National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving a more reconciled Australia.
