Online Briefing: Place-Based Reconciliation Pilot in Great Southern

Reconciliation Australia and Reconciliation WA are working in partnership with the Great Southern community to pilot a bespoke RAP to drive reconciliation outcomes. The Place-based Pilot (the Pilot) is a community-led initiative to co-design, co-decide, and co-deliver upon the shared aspirations unique to the reconciliation landscape of the Great Southern.

This is a significant moment for the reconciliation movement in the Great Southern region, Western Australia, and Australia-wide.

We warmly extend an invitationto all Pilot stakeholders to an online brief. This is our opportunity to re-connect, share progress to date and the opportunities ahead for our continued collaboration.

We also welcome attendance to the online briefing if you are keen to hear about our place-based pilot and be kept informed as we seek to deliver to further WA regions.

Maintaining inclusive and open processes and engagement is a priority. We encourage Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal; community members, leaders, organisations, groups, businesses, Local Governments, NGOs, service providers, State agencies and departments, educators, and Cultural Authorities, to join us in learning more about the Pilot and how to get involved.

We also ask any stakeholders to please save the date for the upcoming yarn on the 26th November – more information to follow.
