Reconciliation WA Membership
We would like to offer you paid membership with Reconciliation WA and joining us to champion a better Western Australia for all Australians. We have three membership types on offer: Individual, organisational, and associate memberships.
As a member of Reconciliation WA you will be part of a movement translating goodwill into meaningful change. You will also be kept up to date with relevant reconciliation developments and be connected with a wider network of people all working in the reconciliation space.
Reconciliation is a process that involves all Western Australians and therefore Reconciliation is not the responsibility of one person body or office. Therefore, we see volunteers as central to the mission of RWA to build respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the wider community. For some, this includes volunteering in a coordinated office, for others it is about out doing projects and events in the community. Volunteers are at the forefront and face of reconciliation. Whilst we see every Australian as a reconciliation builder there are specific roles and responsibilities that we formally ask volunteers to take on to strategically promote the work we do.
RWA will adhere to the National Volunteer Standards-http://volunteeringaustralia.org/wp-content/uploads/VA-National-Standards-for-involving-volunteers-in-not-for-profit-organisations.pdf
